Agoraphobic person will fear:

• Being in a situation where help or escape will not be possible
• Being alone, being in crowded or in open spaces
• Being in enclosed spaces
• Using Public transportation
• Standing inline

An agoraphobic person during episodes will experience one or more of the following

• Fear or anxiety
• Actively avoids situations which may cause anxiety
• Seeks the presence of a companion in specific situations
• Panic attacks

Psychological examination: In-depth interview with a mental health professional to assess the noted signs and symptoms.

Physical examination: Done to rule out other conditions that could be causing your symptoms.
