A great experience, staff were helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We spent 2 hours here and could have easily spent another 2 and we still wouldn’t have seen everything! Full review by ConnorTC

This museum is free to enter, set in a beautiful park, the gardens and the building are impressive. We spent 5 hours browsing the marvellous displays. We broke half way for a lovely, reasonably pric… Full review by F9259KFsuew

Their website says they are open every day except 24 to 26 December. 10am - 6pm daily.

It is free but frankly I wouldn't waste your time. The exhibits are meagre and the whole place has been dumbed down. Both HMS Belfast and the Cabinet War Rooms are far better.

No place to eat packed lunch inside, but plenty of seating areas outside. Cafe quite expensive

Imperial War Museums, is a British national museum. It is headquartered in London, with five branches in England. Founded as the Imperial War Museum in 1917, it was intended to record the civil and military war effort and sacrifice of the United Kingdom and its Empire during the First World War. The museum's remit has since expanded to include all conflicts in which British or Commonwealth forces have been involved since 1914. As of 2012, the museum aims "to provide for, and to encourage, the study and understanding of the history of modern war and 'wartime experience'."
