Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger is done. Disney-owned cable network Freeform has opted to cancel the drama after two seasons. The news comes shortly after Marvel announced a major leadership change, with film topper Kevin Fiege adding oversight of its TV division, among other units.

Freeform has canceled the Marvel TV series “Cloak & Dagger” after 2 seasons, the network confirmed. The series last aired in May, though it has an upcoming crossover with Hulu’s “The Runaways” which returns for its third season in December.

In a surprise to few, Freeform has cancelled the live-action Marvel TV series Cloak & Dagger after two seasons. The show launched in 2018 to fairly positive reviews, but ratings for Season 2 dropped nearly 40% when the series returned earlier this year.

According to the report, Freeform has canceled Cloak and Dagger after two seasons. The decision comes five months after the season 2 finale, with options on the cast's contracts reportedly expiring this week.
