Multiply your hourly wage by the number of hours worked per week (the standard number is 40). Next, multiply the result by the number of weeks in a year, i.e., by 52. Now divide the result of Step 2. by 12, the number of months in a year. The result is your monthly income!

If you are paid $60,000 a year then divide that by 12 to get $5,000 per month. If you know you work 40 hours a week for 50 weeks a year then you would multiply the hourly stated wage by 2,000 to get the annual total & then divide by 12 to get the monthly equivalent.
