    Aplastic anaemia is a short-lived life-threatening condition if left untreated. In this condition, the body stops producing sufficient new blood cells. The body becomes less immune and more prone to infections and uncontrolled bleeding in case of injury. It can occur suddenly or slowly progressing to be fatal. Some patients do not manifest any symptoms. If present, they include paleness, tiredness, difficulty in breathing, fast, irregular heartbeat, frequent prolonged infections, uncontrolled bleeding in case of injuries, dizziness, and headache. Treatment includes blood transfusion, and bone marrow transplant also called s stem cell transplant. If untreated, it can be fatal.
