Thousands of Amazon workers have ended their days-long strike against the company, according to the Teamsters union. But tensions persist, with the union saying its efforts aren’t over.

Amazon workers affiliated with the Teamsters union continued a strike Friday at seven of the company’s delivery hubs just days before Christmas. At midnight on Saturday, workers at a prominent unionized warehouse in New York will also join, the Teamsters said.

Amazon drivers went on strike in four states across the country with less than a week to go before Christmas – but the company is saying it’s not going to affect your holiday deliveries.

Workers at seven Amazon facilities are on strike. The Teamsters union says the workers joined picket lines on Thursday after Amazon ignored a Sunday deadline the union set for contract negotiations.
