    • According to 4 sources
Ariadne married Dionysus and became the mother of Oenopion, the personification of wine, Staphylus, who was associated with grapes, as well as Thoas, Peparethus, Eurymedon, Phliasus, Ceramus, Maron, Euanthes, Latramys, and Tauropolis.
Ariadne (Greek "Ἀριάδνη") in Greek mythology is the princess of Crete, daughter of King Minos and Queen Pasiphae. Known to have fallen in love with the hero Theseus and to be the wife of the god Dionysus.
Even though Dionysus traveled the world, he still married and had children. It is said that he had relationships with both Nyx, the goddess of the night, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love. But he married Ariadne, the princess of Crete, and they had several children, with the most famous being Priaus, Phthonus and Deinira.
According to one famous myth, Dionysus found Ariadne on Naxos shortly after she was abandoned by Theseus and decided to marry her. Ariadne was the most important of Dionysus’ mythical consorts, and in some traditions she was even granted immortality so that she could live beside her divine husband forever.
