Homo habilis and Homo erectus are two species of human ancestors. Homo habilis is known as the ‘handy man’ because he was the first to make and use tools. He had a smaller brain and face than Homo erectus. Homo erectus was also upright and had prominent speech. He directly led to modern humans.
