Supernatural began in 2005 and follows Sam and Dean Winchester all the way to season 15. But how old are the brothers at both the beginning and end?

Dean Winchester (b. January 24, 1979 – d. 2020 or 2025) was a human and hunter as well as a member of the Men of Letters with his younger brother Sam. He and his brother are members of the Winchester and Campbell families. Through his father, Dean is the older half-brother of Adam Milligan.

Dean is 26 years old when the series begins and has been allowed by John to hunt by himself. In the first episode, Dean goes to Sam (who is away at college), whom he has not seen for a few years, and asks for help finding John, who has gone missing.

Dean was 26 at the start of season 1, and his birthday is in January, so he was 27 by the midpoint. 14 years later, we're in the midpoint of season 15, so he should be 41. I know there is something of a floating timeline, but there were year skips in season 6 and 8, so that's 43.
