Feb 17, 2020 · The backlit icon is on my F5 key but it only works like a dimmer. Press once the backlit is bright. Press again and the backlit is dim. Press a third time and the backlit goes off. This key does not effect the time out. In bright or dim it still times out in 30 seconds. Whatever has it set to 30 seconds should be able to be changed.

5/2/20 same issue. no way to turn off power save mode for keyboard to remain lit. This is the only thing I found making this laptop not a keeper and how disappointing this little issue would have been easily fixed with an override or button on the unit where the option to turn on or off....third option to leave on. sorry guys you guys failed this one.

I'd like to know whether its possible to alter the keyboard backlight so that they will stay ON alll the time instead of turning off after 10-15 seconds ? Any ideas ? Many thanks.
