    Honey badgers can be found throughout most of sub-Saharan Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and western Asia. They can adapt to a variety of conditions, from warm rain forests to cool mountains. Their home ranges can be as vast as about 193 square miles (500 square kilometers).
    Honey badgers occur in Africa, southwestern Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. The area of their distribution covers most parts of sub-Saharan Africa, stretching from the Western Cape (South Africa) northwards, reaching southern Morocco and southwestern Algeria.
    The honey badger has a wide, extensive historical distribution range, which extends through most of sub-Saharan Africa. It occurs from the Western Cape to southern Morocco and south western Algeria. In addition, it also occurs in Arabia, Iran and western Asia, as well as the Indian peninsula (Proulx et al. 2016).
