Bursitis

Very common

An inflammation of bursae, the fluid filled sacs that cushion the joints. This causes pain, swelling and stiffness around the joint.

Symptoms may include:

• Pain in the affected joints, knee pain
• Tenderness of affected area
• Swelling

Patellar tendinitis

Common

An injury to the patellar tendon that connects kneecap to tibia, the long bone between knee and the ankle of the leg. This results in knee pain.

Symptoms may include:

• Knee pain
• Localized tenderness over the patella tendon
• Stiffness

Osteoarthritis

Very common

Inflammation of one or more joints. It is the most common form of arthritis that affects joints in the hand, spine, knees and hips.

Symptoms may include:

• Knee pain
• Pain & stiffness of joints (hand, knees, hip)
• Tender and warm Joints...

Baker's cyst

Common

A fluid-filled swelling at the back of the knee. This causes pain in the knee or calf, especially when the knee is bent or stretched.

Symptoms may include:

• Bulge or swelling behind the knee
• Pain and feeling of tightness behind the knee
• Knee pain
