(There are steps to recover save files manually , but unfortunately that's not possible on Xbox since they require file access.)

Dec 24, 2024 · Loaded game and it prompted for an update. No way to not update if you want to play on XBOX. After it finished updating it loaded as expected. Did my daily stuff, but when going to sleep the game goes black and then my Xbox home screen appears and the game has terminated. Reboot, try again, rinse and repeat terminal spiral.
