The United States Army in World War II used a variety of standard and non-standard dress and battle uniforms, which often changed depending upon the theater of war, climatic environment, and supply exigencies.

During World War II, the color of the US Army uniform went through a significant evolution. Initially, the standard color was olive drab shade number three (OD3), which was a brownish-green hue. This color was used for both the combat uniform and various accessories.

With uniforms and personal gear I first paint the base coat, and then do shadows with the same colors mixed with a bit of black, and highlight with the same colors mixed with some MM Camouflage Grey or light MM flesh color or the PS equivalent.
