    Ghatotkacha was the son of the Pandava Bhima and the demoness Hidimbi, and thus a half-human, half-demon hybrid. He is the father of Anjanaparva, Barbarika and Meghavarna.
    Ghatotkacha (Gatotkaca) is the son of Bhima (Bima), the strongest of the Pandava (Pandawa) brothers, and the princess giant Hidhimba (Arimbi) in the Mahabharata, a great Hindu epic. He is the consummate warrior, symbolizing bravery, loyalty, honesty, and military strength.
    According to the Mahabharata, the son of Hidimbi and Bhima was known as Ghatotkacha. Due to his mother’s lineage, he became half-Rakshasa. He fought in the Kurukshet war as a skilled warrior.When Ghatotkacha was younger, he lived with his mother, Hidimbaa.
    Bhima had several sons. Ghatotkacha was his most famous son, born to him from his marriage with Hidimbi, a Rakshasi. Bhima also had other sons named Sutasoma and Sarvaga.
