Stewie is well-spoken, with an advanced vocabulary, an upper-class British accent and an ambiguous sexual orientation. He refers to Peter often as 'The Fat man' and his mother by her given name, Lois. Seth MacFarlane has described him as "an evil Rex Harrison".

The entire Griffin family has gone through quite a few changes as the series has progressed, going from immature jerks to emotionally unbalanced lunatics. Stewie, however, has gone through the most changes. He ended up progressing backwards and has became less evil.

Created An Evil Stewie After an attempted murder of a playground bully backfires on Stewie, he decides he's lost an edge. To make up for it, he runs an experiment to bring out a more evil side of him.

People are attracted to the character of Stewie mostly because of his evil traits and overall hateful personality. All these things work because they come in a tiny baby package, which makes the show ten times funnier than it would be otherwise.

When the writers began to flesh out Stewie's character beyond being a generic supervillain in season two, MacFarlane and the writers began to explore Stewie's sexuality with a series of one-off gags, which hinted in "Chick Cancer" and "We Love You, Conrad" that Stewie might be homosexual.
