    Bruce Lee [b] (born Lee Jun-fan; [c] November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973) was a Hong Kong-American martial artist and actor. He was the founder of Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid martial arts philosophy drawing from different combat disciplines.
    Jeet Kune Do is a modern martial arts philosophy and fighting style created by Bruce Lee, a renowned martial artist, actor, and martial arts movie producer/writer/director. It was developed in the 1960s as a response to the perceived limitations and constraints of traditional martial arts.
    Jeet Kune Do, a martial arts system created by Bruce Lee, is different from all other forms of kung fu. It was founded in 1967, four years before Bruce Lee became an international martial arts icon. Lee started Jeet Kune Do after leaving Hong Kong and moving to California. In his early years, Lee learned kung fu from Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man.
    Jeet Kune Do A practical, self-defence focused martial art founded by the great Bruce Lee. In his own words, Lee referred to his Martial Art as “non-classical” or “formless”.
