Auburn is a beautiful city with natural preserves, parks, golf courses, and large stadiums. The Chewacla State Park features a large lake for water activities, camping grounds, and several trails for mountain biking and hiking. The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is one of the best museums exhibiting a large collection of traditional to contemporary artworks. Another must-see attraction of the city is the Southeastern Raptor Center. A raptor show is held on every Friday where birds of prey such as falcons, hawks, and eagles fly very close to the visitors.
