The medial view of the brain is a sagittal section along the longitudinal cerebral fissure that reveals the medial surface of the cerebrum. Additional gyri and sulci of the previously mentioned lobes can be better appreciated in this view. There are four possible views of the brain: lateral, medial, dorsal, and ventral.
