To dance at your middle school dance without feeling awkward, stick to the easy dance moves. For example, try the two-step by stepping with your right foot, following with your left foot, then switch feet and repeat to your left, in time to the music.

Each student MUST have an ASB card to enter the dance. o To make sure that all attending the dance are Middle School students. o To track membership of all students entering the dance.

Middle School Dance Guidelines. Middle school dances are planned and organized by the Middle School ASB. Dances are for students in 7th & 8th grades. All school rules apply to school dances. Dances are held on campus and generally run from 7:00-9:00pm or 8:00-10:00pm. Our responsibility for each student is taken very seriously at school dances.

Learning dance is ultimately a journey of self-expression. Perfecting every step is not what is important. Personal enjoyment, social engagement, and appreciation for all movement forms will ultimately keep dance as an important element of an individual’s physical literacy journey.
