    To fix the Microsoft Office icon not showing issue, you can try the following:

    • Open the Windows Start menu and click Settings > Apps. Find Microsoft Office Desktop Apps in the app list, select it and click on Advanced options. Click Fix, wait for about one minute and then restart your device. If the problem persists, repeat these steps but click Reset instead of Fix in Step 3.
    • Run Start menu Troubleshooter.
    • Pin the Office Program to the taskbar.
    • Restore missing icons inside the Microsoft Office programs.
    • Clear the icon cache.
    • Open Office Tools and open Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Click the Help option leading you to Detect and Repair in the drop-down menu. Click Restore my Shortcuts while Repairing.
    • If the Office icons are blank after installing Office from the Microsoft Store, then Open Settings > Apps. Find Microsoft Office Desktop Apps in the app list, select it and click on Advanced options. Click Fix. Then wait till the process is over and then restart your computer.
    • If the Untrusted Font Blocking feature is enabled on the computer as part of either a domain Group Policy setting or a local policy, Microsoft 365 icons are glyphs that are saved in a Microsoft 365-designated font. When the policy setting is enabled, glyphs from the font aren't visible.
