If you are defining the soul as the place where your emotions flow out of, where you think, reason, and make decisions, then absolutely animals have souls. If you are equating the soul with the spirit, then I would say that animals don’t have souls.

Again, the Bible reveals that animals have a soul, God loves them, and they will all be a part of the coming kingdom of God as they are not subject to the final judgment like humans.

In fact, Scripture says that animals are souls. For example, the Hebrew word for “soul” is nephesh. It is translated as “soul” 256 times in the Old Testament, and “creature, living being, life and lifeblood” other times.
