Seasons 1-5 are optimal in episode format. Season 6 is optimal as a movie (IMO) but it works in both because of the Director’s letters to accentuate each episode. The rest work as both but were designed with the movie in mind so they would cut less. However the later seasons are super long and episodic probably makes them more digestible.
