S4.04 Alphabetical Listing of Standard Symbols. The alphabetical listing below provides a complete list of standard Right of Way (R/W) symbology by element type. The name of the element type is prepended with a Category code and Sub-Category code to help organize symbology.

Right of Way (R/W) Plans are used to describe the land boundaries for which the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is responsible. This division describes Standard Symbols and Conventions for the production of R/W Plan sheets described in Division 1.

Right of way, as shown on the plans, is of the following types; normal, controlled access, fully controlled access, partial controlled access, or no right of access. The type of right of way is related to access control.
