San Jose, located in the northern portion of the state in the Bay Area, is commonly referred to as "The Capital of Silicon Valley." It is the most populous city in the Bay Area and Northern California, and it is home to several high-tech businesses. It is Silicon Valley's economic, cultural, and political hub. The Winchester Mystery House and the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum are two well-known attractions of the city as well.
