  2. P80 drill bit question - Glock Talk

Feb 27, 2021 · Normally the 5/32" bit works just fine for the 4mm trigger pin. And yes you do have to ream the holes drilled with the 7/64" bit out with either a good #32 or 3mm bit by hand. I'm a retired tool and die maker and am use to drilling hole slightly undersized and then reaming them to the correct size for pins. Old habits die hard.

Mar 15, 2018 · Ronin's Grips - Polymer80 Pistol Frame M35 Drill Bits 3mm & 4 mm - These quality drill bits are sized for drilling Polymer80 pistol frames for their pins. This package includes one 3mm drill bit (approx. 2.95-2.97mm) and one 4mm drill bit (approx. 3.95-3.96mm).

  4. Front Sight Screw Rounded - Glock Talk

Jan 10, 2025 · I tried to install a Night Fision front sight which I managed to loosen a little bit with a 3/16 socket, am I screwed or can a qualified Glock armorer get that screw off and install the new sight, sorry about my rant but I'm so frustrated with the whole situation I'm in. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott.

  5. 80% pistol reliability/longevity - Glock Talk

Dec 31, 2024 · Drill holes for the three pins and that's all material to be removed. Not saying the smoothing of frame is a snap but I think a bit less work than the P80. My two problems were the pin that goes through the grip hit just a tiny bit of the bottom part of the rail which stressed me out trying to figure how to get it past without enlarging the pin ...

  6. Warning about PFSS9- Polymer 80 Glock 43 build - Glock Talk

Mar 19, 2020 · So I went to Lowe's and bought the Irwin 8 - 32 tap and drill bit set. Along with that I bought several $4 to $5 Dewalt drill bits 3/32 7/64 and 9/64. These were labeled as Dewalt Split Point, very sharp. And 2 of the 8-32 set screws with the Allen head, these were roughly 3/8 inch long. I never used the 9/64 bit in this build or repair.

  7. Witness holes on magazines? | Glock Talk

Jan 13, 2017 · As stupid as that sounds, it would cost more money per unit to drill peep holes in the magazine, which doesn't provide any real benefit anyways. Hell it took the military (knowingly) decades to introduce just simple anti-tilt followers for our troops, which DOES provide reliability advantages at a minimal cost increase.

  8. G9 Defense Ammo, Gimmick or Best Self Defense ammo?

Dec 7, 2024 · Read it carefully, it says wound size, not perm crush cavity. Temp cavs don't really do much wounding, tearing or crushing unless the tissue is more solid, heart, liver, kidney. They are selling ammo. The more they make ypu believe its a magic bullet, the more likely you will buy it. Better than fmj, yes, better than well designed jhp, tbd.

  9. Polymer 80 Trigger Mechanism Housing - Glock Talk

Mar 14, 2022 · Get the drill motor running. Cut off the twisted portion of the drill bit. Now shape a nice taper on the end of the drill bit shank. Done. Put some lube on the slave pin and tap it into your frame while pressing in the TMH/RRM. With the correct size punch tap the slave pin to …

  10. Sheared off mos screws | Glock Talk

Feb 9, 2023 · I had to drill a small hole (use a drill press) and use a screw puller (like a reverse-fluted counter sink). Also known as an easy-out. It's doable, but you will want to use a drill press and EXTREME care.

  11. Everglades Ammo & Reloading - Glock Talk

Dec 31, 2015 · The thing I look for in bullet accuracy is (1)- consistent size & PROPER size for my barrels & (2)- consistent bullet weight. I just bought 4,000 .40 cal FMJ flat point from a major bullet supplier about a month ago & ended up having to weigh each one & put into average weight piles as they varied from 168gr to 189gr.
