    In general terms, a stall is when an aircraft wing stops producing lift due to an excessive angle of attack. The angle of attack is the angle between the wings cord line and the oncoming airflow. The wing can be made to generate lift by reducing the angle of attack to an appropriate level. Most, if not all, winged aircraft can stall.
