This page features files containing city and town population for years 2020 to 2023. For the most recent data available, please refer to the Vintage 2023 data. Vintage 2023 is the most recent completed vintage and consistent set of estimates.

United States has 14 cities with more than a million people, 335 cities with between 100,000 and 1 million people, and 4115 cities with between 10,000 and 100,000 people. The largest city in United States is New York City, with a population of 8,175,133 people.

The most populous cities in Missouri are Kansas City with 510,704, St. Louis at 281,754, Springfield with 170,188, Columbia at 129,330, and Independence with 120,922.
