Jul 17, 2022 · Look at the list of schools that meet 100% of need but run the NPC of schools to ensure you have need need or they’d meet what u deem is affordable. U of Miami comes to mind. Rice. WUSTL. Cornell. Most colleges that meet need will be reaches for almost all. You may look to an in state flagship with income program or OOS public with huge merit.

Even if we could agree that “tier 1” refers only to the top N colleges according to some ranking system or metric, then the distinction between N and N+1 would have to be rather arbitrary.

And searching high and low for a few more safety or match schools to add – particularly those that also offer a traditional campus/college life experience. (My D is a big sports kid, and would love a college that has school spirit and sports.)
