    The Code of Virginia § 22.1-279.6 (C) and (D) requires school boards to include rules against bullying in their Codes of Student Conduct as well as against hazing and profane or obscene language or conduct. Parents of any student involved in an alleged bullying incident must be notified within 24 hours of learning of the bullying allegation.
