In doing so, it clears "Cookies and other site data," which in turn clears the settings for Bing. To fix: - Go to your browser Settings > Privacy, search, and services. Not Bing's settings. - Scroll down to Clear Browsing Data. - Click on Choose what to clear every time you close your browser. - Find Cookies and other site data.

You can try to clear Bing's cookies and site data and then set your preferences once again to see if it retains your settings. To do this, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data.

If the issue still persist, try using another browser and see if the bing settings will also be revert back to default. If it did not revert back, it means that this might be a browser problem. Please re-install your browser or change your browser.

What I personally do, is to keep as a bookmark a custom bing link I made that overwrites the location and language to US/English and sets Safe Search to off. After using Rewards, I just click on it and everything goes back to normal: https://www.bing.com/&mkt=en-US&setlang=en-us&adlt=off

I've been using bing and edge for almost 2 years now and one thing that really bugs me how it always resets the settings, right after installation I'd change following settings: Turn off Bing to open search results in new tab. Turn off the content in new tab section.
