There's the "every type has its own unique strengths" stuff, but I think of having a rare type as having a rare disease, there's limited understanding, it's harder to get help and so on. I would much prefer for INFJs to not be so rare.

Dec 12, 2022 · On top of that Infjs are the rarest of people. So that adds to all the general reasons. My experience :- I'm almost 20. To this day I've only found one person who truly understands me. She's an infj too and has had sort of a similar exposure to society. We have a lot of similarities so we understand each other better than anyone else.

For instance one of the odd traits that infj apperantly have is we can often not feel pain. I get tons of cuts on my legs I don't notice (working around the house or mountain biking). But a prominent INFJ who is definitely an INFJ in my opinion, doesn't have this trait. So we're not all the same.
