Symptoms may include:

• Extreme itching
• Redness
• Blisters

Warts

Very common

Noncancerous skin growths caused due to infection by human papillomavirus (HPV).

Symptoms may include:

• Small grainy skin growths
• Bumps with rough or smooth surface
• Flat areas
• Growths with dark dots in the centre

Seborrheic keratosis

Common

A common non-cancerous skin growth in old people. It appears as waxy, scaly and slightly raised growth.

Symptoms may include

• Small, rough bumps, on the chest, back, stomach or other parts of the body, then slowly thickens and develops a watery surface
• A waxy, stuck - on - the - skin look and ranges in size from a fraction of an inch to larger than a half- dollar

Actinic keratosis

Very common

A condition which causes scaly patches on the skin from exposure to the sun over the years. It is commonly found on face, lips, ears, neck, back of the hand and forearms.

Symptoms may include:

• Small, rough, dry, or scaly patch of skin
• Flat or slightly raised patch or bump on the skin
• Hard, wart- like surface in a few cases...

Molluscum contagiosum

Very common

Common skin infection caused by a poxvirus. This causes round, firm, painless bumps and may appear anywhere on the body.

Symptoms may include:

• Bumps on the skin that may be:
• Round, raised, and flesh coloured, which can turn red and inflamed
• Range in size from a pinhead to a pencil eraser...

Keratosis pilaris

Very common

A skin condition causing dry, rough patches with tiny bumps without pain or itching.

Symptoms may include:

• Dry, rough patches with tiny bumps (resembling gooseflesh) on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks
