    • According to 3 sources
The Boeing 777X is the latest series of the long-range, wide-body, twin-engine jetliners in the Boeing 777 family from Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The 777X features new GE9X engines, new composite wings with folding wingtips, greater cabin width and seating capacity, and technologies from the Boeing 787.
Boeing's newest aircraft, the Boeing 777X, flew for the first time in January 2020 after lengthy delays. It's the largest twin-engine jet in the world and Boeing's latest new aircraft to fly since the grounding of the 737 Max.
Described as “the world’s largest and most efficient twin-engine jet,” the Boeing 777X was originally scheduled to enter into service in 2020, but the launch of the jetliner has been beset by delays. Now expected to debut in 2025, the airplane’s most striking exterior feature is undoubtedly its folding wingtips – a first for commercial aviation.
