    Precautions

    • Do not touch applicator tip
    • Do not touch tip of tube
    • For aerosol, spray products : Read directions carefully before start of therapy. Prevent contamination. May clear nostrils with nasal bulb syringe. Follow directions on best place to keep drug supply.
    • For drops products : Do not touch tip of open eye drop bottle. Wait 5 min. before other eye medications.
    • For gel products : For use in the nose.
    • For ointment products : For the eye. Wash hands before and after using. May wear contact lenses 15 min. after using drug. Prevent contamination. Wait 5-10 minutes before using other eye drugs. May cause blurred vision. Call doctor if eye pain occurs. Call doctor if you are not getting better.
    • For tablet, soluble products : Tell pharmacist if you are on a low-sodium diet. Store at room temperature.
    • For vial products : Drug is given by a nurse or a doctor. For intravenous injection dilute prior to use. Call MD for fever, chills or persistent sore throat. Call Dr. if foot, ankle, or leg swelling develop. Tell doctor your complete medical history. Call MD for bone pain, weakness, mental changes. Review all drugs you are taking with your doctor. Lab tests may be ordered to monitor therapy.
    • For vial, nebulizer products : Know how to use before inhaling. Don't use if solution has particles or color change. Use once and discard any extra medicine. Store at room temperature away from heat & sunlight.
